Students learned how ancient people used clay dug from the earth to make useful objects. 5th grade is making a simple bowl- a pinch pot- and then using their imagination to turn it into something else by adding additional clay and by making designs and textures in the clay. They will then be fired in the kiln and glazed to give them a final, colorful , permanent coating. Check back to see the results!
